Facebook Thanksgiving Board

A Thanksgiving Board is much like a Dream Board, except that instead of placing pictures of your dreams, you find pictures representing the things that you are grateful for.

To me, a thanksgiving board is a very powerful way of counting the blessings in your life. You are not only listing out your blessings, but you are seeing them before you.

Facebook adds a new dimension to this process: you can share your thanksgiving board with your friends and inspire them to follow your example.

Here are the steps that you can use to build your online Thanksgiving Board:

1) List down all the issues that are causing misery and suffering around the world. If you have trouble with this exercise, browse through any newspaper.

2) List down everything that you are thankful for.

3) Combine different issues together if possible, otherwise you may have too many pictures [which may also be a good thing].

4) Reorder these issues, starting with the most important ones to the least important ones. You may also like to arrange them in themes if it makes more sense.

5) Go to Google Images and look for suitable pictures for each of your dreams. Type in keywords that apply to the issues that concern you.

6) Add a photo album entitled “My Thanksgiving Board” in Facebook.

7) Start posting photos with a description of your gratitude. You can use statements like “I am glad that…” or “I am thankful for…”

8) Join the Facebook group “The Online Thanksgiving Board Group” and share your experiences with everyone.

That’s all. Do remember to have fun during the process.
